The Ketchikan Humane Society would like to thank our community for your generous support for our programs in 2012. We are a 501(c)3 non- profit. All of our members are unpaid volunteers and one hundred percent of the money we raise goes to the animals we rescue. In addition to our rescue work, we sponsor low-cost spay and neuter clinics throughout the year in an effort to reduce the number of unwanted animals euthanized every year in the communities of Southern Southeast Alaska.

This year when you apply for your Permanent Fund Dividend, please remember us. We have just qualified to be part of the Pick Click Give program. By picking, clicking, and giving, you will help us to help the abandoned and abused animals in our communities find a second chance at a permanent loving home.

By January 10th, we already had ten dogs and eight kittens in rescue in our foster homes. If this trend continues, we will need every dollar we can raise to continue our programs. Thank you so much for remembering the Ketchikan Humane Society when you PICK CLICK GIVE.
