CFL Platform?
By Scott Cragun

Mr. Borders, if it is true that the only light bulbs you can find at your "local" hardware store are the more energy efficient CFL (compact flourecent) type, this is a choice made by the store and/or its purchasing department. Incandescent light bulbs are not scheduled to be COMPLETELY phased out in the USA until January 2014, this process has started this year (2012) with the higher wattage bulbs then works it's way down to the lower wattage bulbs by 2014.

I am not claiming stake in any particular party but only want to make sure that my friends and neighbors are properly informed with regards to energy related issues that may affect them. You state in your post that:

"It was a stroke of genius, two years ago, on behalf of the same party, which controlled the majority of the US Senate, and the House of Representatives, passing a law that only the Compact Florescent bulbs shall be used and furthermore, banned the manufacture of incandescent bulbs made in the USA. The same congress the President reports not effective or working for Americans .

Since you state this law was signed 2 years ago I assume that you are suggesting that the current president signed this bill.

I would like to point out that the truth of the matter is that the bipartisan law mandating the phaseout of incandecent light bulbs was signed by President George W. Bush in 2007.

If your water lines have frozen, I'm sorry, but please don't use your lack of better judgement and ability to prepare for a platform to attack an administration.
