In defense of the AKDOT/PF highway crew, we recently witnessed the anomaly of a 5-6 inches snowfall from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, which in my opinion would have required a crew and equipment several times ours to meet the demand.
So, KUDOS to our DOT highway crew!!!
And, in concern for all motorist, please pay heed to the adage "ADJUST ROAD SPEED TO ROAD CONDITIONS".
