Gas prices

I would like an answer. I have worked as an attendant (8 Years) and I thought the people that stood on the corner with their signs protesting the high gas price was a great idea.

But think about this, the gas stations say they don't price gouge - then they drop the price of regular gas within hours. I know that "plus" gas is a mix of 60% regular and only 40% premium and that price stayed the same. If "regular" could come down that fast why didn't "PLUS" come down accordingly?
