Tonight in our town, an older man got away with hitting and pushing my 14 year old son in the Rec-Center. The city cops did nothing, and they did not even hear all of the story!! Why???? He just walked away and laughed at us saying "you have problems"!

Is there something wrong with this picture?? Yes! I went in there and made a scene. All that man could say is "you can't do anything to me" ...that's when I asked them to call the cops. A lot of help they were!!!

Since when is it ok for an older person to touch a 14 year old boy??? In the old days anybody over the age of 18 would be arrested for touching anybody under the age of 18!! When did that change???

How can he get away with this?? I HAVE ALWAYS BELIEVED IN OUR COURT AND IN THE COPS TO DO THE RIGHT THING. BUT NOT FOR THIS - THEY WERE WRONG!! THEY DID NOTHING.

DOES THAT TELL ALL THOSE KIDS THAT WERE THERE AND SAW THIS THAT IT'S OK FOR AN OLDER PERSON TO GET AWAY WITH ANYTHING THEY WANT.!??????!?

Thank you,

Tracy Lindahl
