DON'T OVER-TAX KETCHIKAN'S CITIZENS!

What is the Ketchikan Gateway Borough thinking? The 15% increase is ABSURD! I can't think of a single thing that I've done to my house to make it "OVERNIGHT" worth 15% more! As property owners in other towns (Portland,Ore. for one) have had to accept, property prices are falling!

House buyers aren't buying houses nor is Ketchikan's population growing.Which is the main reason not to OVER-TAX THE CITIZENS!

This is just another Back-door attempt to raise taxes. For what now?

I remember a time when everyone running for government office did so on NO NEW TAXES!

The average KGB tax-payers wages didn't go up 15% -- Fuel Has! Food Has!

GIVE US A BREAK FOR CRIPES SAKE!

Why should you think the value of every building has gone UP?

It's time for some one with some common sense to run things!
