Ketchikan, Alaska - A Coast Guard Air Station Sitka helicopter crew conducts hoist training with the crew of an Ohio Class submarine from Naval Base Kitsap in Bangor, Washington north of Ketchikan on Jan. 22nd. 

A helicopter crew would apply the same procedures when hoisting from a submarine as they would when hoisting from any vessel.
