Ketchikan's First Baby of 2006

Ketchikan, Alaska - Emma Victoria Marie Boyd was Ketchikan's first baby of 2006. Emma's parents, Brittany Maxwell and Robert Boyd of Ketchikan, welcomed her into the world on January 1st at 4:37pm. 

Emma was born at Ketchikan General Hospital. She weighed 7 lbs, 3 oz, and was delivered by Donna Smith, MD, Obstetrician.  Hospital employees assembled a basket of gifts for the newborn and her family.

Ketchikan's second baby of the new year was born at A Woman's Place. SophieLynda Marie Agoney was born at 6:01 pm on January 1st to Starla and Wilfred Agoney.
