Thank you again for presenting a good publication that the your fine readers can keep abreast of the happenings in Ketchikan. The election for new officers for Ketchikan Indian Community are over and I want to congratulate my nephew Sam Bergeron on his successful campaign for president of KIC. I wish him and the new elected members of the organization the best of my good wishes for success in the next twelve months. I want to thank those who voted for me and helped in my campaign. To those unsuccessful candidates, thank you for stepping forward and demonstrating your willingness to make a difference to the tribe and the benefit of its membership.
