Open Letter To KIC Tribal Members
by Tonia J. Nebl

January 14, 2005
Friday

KIC Tribal Members: I, Tonia J. Nebl, would like to submit a letter of intent to run for election to the KIC Tribal Health Clinic Board. I would like to run as a WRITE IN candidate for the January 17, 2005 election.

I have been a lifetime member of the Ketchikan Indian Community; I am currently licensed as a Certified Nurses Assistant and am continuing my education towards becoming a Registered Nurse. I have a strong passion for the medical field and hope to make this a lifelong pursuit. I have a special desire to be involved in Health Care Initiatives for our elders in the Ketchikan Indian Community.

I worked as the Clinic Executive Assistant from January 2004 to October 2004, at which time I resigned to further pursue my education. One of my duties was to attend monthly Health Board meetings, compile and distribute agenda packets and direct communication with the Health Board President and members.

I am extremely honored to submit this letter of intent and hope that I will be able to serve the members of the Ketchikan Indian Community with integrity and humility.

Sincerely,

Tonia J. Nebl
Ketchikan, AK - USA
