2013 Business Personal Property filings for businesses within the boundaries of the City of Ketchikan are past due at the Borough Assessor's Office. Borough Code imposes a $200 fee for failing to file a Business Personal Property return. An extension to February 14, 2013, may be requ4ested from the Assessment Department at: 907-228-6640 or by email at All businesses with operations inside the City of Ketchikan must file a Business Personal Property return for 2013. If the return is not filed, Borough Code requires the Borough Assessor to prepare a valuation and impose the $200 fee. The Borough Assessor cannot remove the fee once it is imposed.
