TIME FOR CHANGE
By James C. Eakes

Frank Murkowski has experienced the consequences of a bullish, somewhat arrogant & closed method of serving as our Governor for the last 4 years. I believe Tony knowles and Ethan Berkowitz will bring a fresh, experienced team to the Governor's office that will represent the citizens of Alaska in an open, fair and democratic manner. Sara Palin has not demonstrated her ability to do this.

I have appreciated the efforts Don Young has made for our state. However, there is no place in public office, one filled by the voting public, for his public arrogance exhibited in recent years. His unwillingness to defend his positions on issues with all citizens of Alaska and to even acknowledge alternatives to his philosophy is unacceptable.

These are the reasons I have Knowles/Bertkowitz and Diane Benson signs on my truck and urge a vote for them.
