The immediate threat to this property is massive development that will forever alter the historic context and natural landscape of Naha Bay. This significant property is not suitable for private development. The property is better suited for public use: It's close proximity to Ketchikan and the Naha River Recreation area makes this an ideal site for historic preservation, public recreation and small ecotour groups. By becoming a public park it will serve the community of Loring and Ketchikan for many generations to come. If you are inspired and share the same vision as the coalition please contact us today. We need to hear from you. Please visit www.loringalaska.info for pictures of the property and to learn more. Thank You for your support!
