"We're excited to launch this fun community fundraising campaign in February," said Gretchen Klein, Program Manager of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ketchikan. "Bowl For Kids' Sake has helped Juneau and other communities support their local Big Brothers Big Sisters organizations. We thank the 47 matches who have taken part in Big Brothers Big Sisters in our first year of operation here in Ketchikan. We know that Ketchikan residents will get behind this campaign, too, because of all the support we've received so far," said Klein.

Klein said participating in Bowl For Kids' Sake is fun and easy. Once you get three or four friends together to form a team, you collect pledges from friends, family, and colleagues. Then on April 4, you'll come together and take part in a fun, family-oriented bowling party. Klein said there will be lots of door prizes awarded, as well as prizes for the highest fund raisers.
